Ulster coats are a timeless outerwear model. For this particular classic model which we plan to offer as a perennial piece, we present a thick (620g) Italian boiled wool, woven in Tuscany. This fabric is similar in texture to Casentino, thanks to the production process - shrinking the yarn by approximately 30% gives the fabric great density and weather resistance as well as the unique felted texture.
The coat features all the details that a classic Ulster Coat should have: a double-breasted 6x2 closure, sturdy storm collar, half-belt back, turn-back cuffs, and patch pockets with flaps, all finished off with the perfect length - falling just below the knee on most silhouettes.
Wear it over a suit, separates, thick sweaters, or even more casual sportswear. The mid grey tone makes it a unique addition to any wardrobe to be worn with your favorite navy and grey clothing pieces. We also offer this in midnight blue as a staple year over year.
